Synthetic Performance
The 3Dmark Vantage results were much the same on the two AM2+ motherboards, as the Crosshair II Formula was able to match the pace set by the M3A32-MVP Deluxe. The GPU scores were competitive with the PQ5 Deluxe, though this motherboard scored considerably better in the CPU test thanks to the Q9450.
The PCmark Vantage music performance was stronger on the ASUS Crosshair II Formula when compared to the M3A32-MVP Deluxe, while both boards produced a similar gaming score.
When testing with CINEBENCH R10, the ASUS Crosshair II Formula was slightly stronger than the M3A32-MVP Deluxe in the OpenGL rendering test, while it lagged behind in the multi-CPU rendering test.
