Benchmarks: Devil May Cry 4

Running Devil May Cry 4 with AA/AF disabled allowed the Radeon HD 4870 to overtake the GeForce GTX 260 for the first time, delivering 11% more performance at 1920x1200.

The Radeon HD 4870 was still 6% slower than the mighty GeForce GTX 280. The GeForce GTX 260 was 20% faster than the Radeon HD 4850 at 1920x1200.

Enabling 4xAA and even 8xAA resulted in the Radeon HD 4870 hitting the lead consistently, knocking the GeForce GTX 280 out of first place for the first time in our testing. Although the lead at 1920x1200 was marginal, call it a symbolic win for the Radeon HD 4870.

The Radeon HD 4850 was not as fortunate, still coming in last position behind the GeForce GTX 260 at all three tested resolutions.
