Benchmarks: Adobe Premiere, AutoMKV, Excel
Overclocking the Phenom II X4 940 shaved 3 seconds off our Adobe Premiere rendering test. This served for topping the Core 2 Quad which was a bit faster without the overclock.
We saw a remarkable 20% performance improvement when running the overclocked test in AutoMKV. This translated in a 3 minute saving and considerably narrowing the gap with the Core i7 920.
The Microsoft Excel gains were also impressive, though not enough to overtake the Core 2 Quad Q9650, which was 28% faster.
