Memory Benchmarks

When I tested the nForce 570 Ultra chipset, the first thing I noticed was how poor the memory performance was. Thankfully, this is not an issue with the more expensive nForce 590 SLI chipset, as we can see here with the ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard. Although the M2N32-SLI Deluxe was not all that much faster than the K8NXP-SLI, the 5% increase in bandwidth is much better than a decrease in memory bandwidth. Overclocking also had its benefits, as the memory bandwidth was boosted by another 15%. Similar memory performance trends were seen in SiSoft2007, PCmark2005 and MemTach.
