When measuring memory bandwidth performance with SiSoftware Sandra 2010 we see that the Phenom II X6 processors are much like their quad-core parts. The bandwidth of the Phenom II X6 1090T reached 13.6GB/s, which is almost 3GB/s less than the Core i5 750 processor.

The EVEREST Ultimate Edition memory bandwidth results resemble those previously seen on Sandra. The Phenom II X6 processors perform alike the X4 965 delivering roughly 8.8GB/s read performance and 6.8GB/s write performance. Both the read and write results were considerably lower when compared to the Core i5 and Core i7 processors.

The L2 cache performance has been measured using EVEREST Ultimate Edition and as you can see the read performance of the Phenom II X6 processors is comparable to the Core i5 750. However, the write performance is considerably higher on the Core i5 750 while the Core i7 processors enjoy an even greater advantage.
