Power Consumption

As we've discovered throughout our individual Sandy Bridge processor reviews, the architecture is extremely power efficient and that shows in the CoreHT's consumption figures. When idle, the system only pulled 18 watts (the lowest we recorded) and that jumped to a meager 61 watts under full load. By comparison, the Vision 3D's Core i3/Ion combo had double the idle consumption and it chugged few more watts under load. The A8-3850 rig is even more power-hungry at 48 watts and 120 watts.
