Memory Bandwidth Performance
The Core i7-3820 delivered similar memory bandwidth performance to the 3960X, reaching 18.8GB/s in the AIDA64 Extreme Edition memory bandwidth test. That's slightly slower than the LGA1155 Sandy Bridge processors.
The L2 cache performance of the i7-3820 was only a fraction slower than the 3960X while it was slightly faster than the i7-2600K.
