EVEREST Ultimate Edition

As you can see, the Athlon64 X2 5200+ shows quite strong memory bandwidth performance in EVEREST for a 2.6GHz dual-core processor. The Phenom 9500 is 15% slower in the read performance test and an incredible 34% slower when measuring the write performance. Although the Phenom 9500 demonstrated similar write performance to the Core 2 Quad Q6600, it was significantly slower in the read test.

The Phenom 9500 does particularly well in the EVEREST processor performance test as it provides more than twice the performance of the Athlon64 X2 5200+ in the CPU PhotoWorxx test, where it is 40% faster than the Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor. Possibly even more impressive was the 17% lead that the Phenom 9500 held over the Core 2 Extreme QX6850. However this was not the case in the FPU SinJulia test, where the Phenom 9500 was 15% slower than the Core 2 Quad Q6600.
