Direct x 9 compatible graphics card

Hi,

I know that this question has probably been asked a million times, but I have just installed the sims 2 free time and I am getting the direct x 9 compatable graphics card message. I have direct x 9, I checked that. I have a 945GM Express Chipset graphics driver. I have a fairly new Dell laptop, and all of the other Sims 2 expansion packs have worked fine. I'm just not sure what I should do at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

If you haven't already, go to Dell's website and install their latest drivers for your particular system. See if that brings a resolve to your issue.

Thank you for the tip. I downloaded the driver update for my graphics driver but it didnt work for me. I have no idea what to do. Has anyone else that has had this problem actually resolved it?
