I am looking to do some upgrading. Here are some breif specs.

Pentium D
1 gig
geforce 7900 GS
150 gig hddr
500 watt pwr supply
Windows XP
Acer Al1916W 8:ms

The two items i am looking to upgrade are:

XFX GeForce 7900GS XT 480MHZ 256MB 256BIT to a XFX GeForce 9600GT 650MHZ 512MB 1.8GHZ

Also my Acer Al1916w 8:ms to a Samsung 226BW 22IN Widescreen LCD 2:ms

I am looking for excellent quality, I am looking for a glossy bright image that looks like HD. Any recommendations. I am NOT looking to upgrade my cpu or any other specs. I want to increase the quality of my image.

I have the 226BW and looked at alot of other monitiors before choosing it... the image quality is awesome, get it and you won't be disappointed. As for the GFX card, I'd suggest spending a little extra for the 8800GT.
