Downloaded and installed printer driver from HP's website. Can print in b/w no problem. It's not a problem with the printer as I installed the driver (from original CD) onto an XP machine and printed in color. Just seems to affect my boss' Vista laptop (IBM/Lenovo). Is this old workhorse printer that we inherited ever going to print in color with a Vista machine? Thanks!

Maybe you have to say that you have a colour cartridge installed in the printer settings.. Also, make sure you haven't checked an option somewhere to print greyscale only.

maybe not due to the age could be something to do with the drivers not working with vista do you know if the drivers are shown to work with vista?
