Greetings.

Yesterday ard 10am, i ran DBAN on my laptop (ibm t30, hdd samsung mp0804h) using PRNG, 33 rounds. The throughput was 30 000kbps for the first 13 rounds, however for the 14th round onwards, it's running at only 3300kbps only. Now its currently running the 16th round. There are no errors yet.

I was wondering if i stop the process now, will it create a bad sector on my hard disk? and since no errors were found yet, has the program successfully written my hard disk 14 times?

Thanks in advance.

No, it will not create a bad sector and yes, the rounds that have been completed mean that your disk has been overwritten that many times.
