Formated my external. Please help me recover my data.

I have a 160 GB Seagate external (149 GB) I got about 133 GB of data Help me recover it please or point me to a recovery thread

Take a look at "ZAR". I have not used this software personally, but I've seen it recommended multiple times so I assume it's decent

any free data recovery software should do the trick, provided you haven't overwritten the HD. Bear in mind, the longer you wait, the more difficult it is to recover due to the fact you might overwrite some of the files.
