I have just purchased a new Desktop System and installed Vista Home Premium 64-bit.
I made all of the necessary preps and updates needed before installing SP1 and everything went smooth, but shortly thereafter and ever since my system has been shutting down unexpectedly. When I start it back up it tells me that Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown and when I check to see what the problem details are I am giving the following information.

I have installed the Windows Debugger and debugging symbols so that I could attempt to read the minidump files and try to diagnose what is causing this issue, but I was unsuccessful in getting the debugger to work correctly.

Can someone please read the minidump files that I have attached and tell me what is causing this BlueScreen event and what I need to do to fix the issue.

Thanks,

See if you can update nvstor.sys, which is an NVIDIA nForce(TM) SATA Driver.

Probably caused by : nvstor.sys ( nvstor+623e )

Thank you peterdiva, I have followed your advice and updated the NVIDIA nForce driver as you suggested. Can you advise me on one more issue and how to resolve it? I was able to read one of my older minidump files and it gave me this issue,
Probably caused by : win32k.sys ( win32k+c96c5 ). Do you know what this issue is and how I can resolve it?

Thanks,

That was a hard drive error, so it could be related to the nvstor.sys problem. Wait to see if it still crashes.

I need your help again, please.
