Ghost Transfer Rate

Hi Folks,

I am currently using Ghost 7.5 to setup a Ghostcast session. What is odd is the amount of time it takes for an image to go from the Ghostcast server to a client in the same room an a 100mbit network. (4 hours)

Is there any way to optimize this? The image was 1.5GB

Thanks

Rod

What's on your network and what is happening while the transfer is active?

The size is not all that large, but it is sizable enough to take some time (4hrs seems excessive to me too).

Consider TCP performance if this is a sesson to a mounted device from another system;
google for XP Tweaks
SackOpts will reduces overhead
tcp window size increases bytes per i/o
