No Silver in your Silver-based Thermal Paste?

Overclockers.com (http://www.overclockers.com/articles938/) recently conducted a test of popular Thermal Paste compounds indluding: Arctic Silver 5, Arctic Silver 3, OCZ Ultra II Premium Silver Compound, and CompUSA Silver Thermal Grease. To their surprise, only two of the four products actually had some silver on them, while the remaining pair had none at all! Isn't that what you can call misleading?

In response to this article, OCZ (http://www.ocztechnology.com/displaypage.php?name=recall) has issued a recall of their product claiming they "do not manufacture Ultra 2 thermal compound in house, it is provided by a foreign manufacturer".

Just read that article and it's somewhat of an insight, though I do recall reading a few months back of some of the cheap knockoffs to Arctic Silver's line. No surprise......find a success and try to clone it....cheaply. Sheesh!
