Last week's American press release announcing the Nintendo DS offered little information about the game system, save it would have two screens. However, a recent translation of the Japanese release trumpeting the handheld offered a few new details about the handheld. The upcoming portable's screens will be vertically stacked and can be used as one giant screen.

On a related note however, during today's earnings-report conference call, Electronic Arts chief executive officer Larry Probst revealed (http://www.gamespot.com/all/news/news_6087083.html) that the publisher has 8 to 12 titles in development for Sony's upcoming handheld console, the PSP, while they're still debating support for Nintendo's handheld.
