Vehementi 02-14-2004, 01:41 AM I like the Printscreen key + MSPaint combination. If you don't know how, just open the thing you want to take a screenshot of and press PrtScn in the upper right corner of your keyboard. Then go into paint and press ctrl+v (paste). And if you just want a pic of the first window, press Alt+PrtScn instead of just PrtScn. Ad 02-14-2004, 01:41 AM drumtrucker 02-14-2004, 02:25 AM that is the ticket, and talk about cheap! Thanks Didou 02-14-2004, 11:07 AM PrtSc generally takes the whole desktop. Use ALT + PrtSc when you just want the application that's focussed. StormBringer 02-14-2004, 04:04 PM MWSnap will sit in your tray and will let you define the area to be captured, even saves it as a jpg or bmp. http://www.mirekw.com/index.html SNGX1275 02-14-2004, 05:40 PM And if anyone that has a Mac and is wondering about screenshot software check out SnapzX. http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/snapzprox/ It will capture ANYTHING that is displayed on your screen, even make video too. LNCPapa 02-14-2004, 10:19 PM Another cool program with some added functionality to taking screenshots is Clipper found at http://www.hot.ee/mardu123/clipper/ - I've been working with this guy to add some functions to this thing but so far it's been great. Nodsu 02-15-2004, 09:58 AM An estonian guy, wow! I gotta dl that proggie for patriotic reasons only. Ad 02-15-2004, 09:58 AM drumtrucker 02-15-2004, 08:43 PM Playing with MWSnap, seems pretty cool |
