I have a sound blaster audigy ex platinum and videologic ZXR 550.

What software would you recomend for 5.1 surround sound for dvd playback and audio?

Im new to 5.1 on the pc so any help will be great!

For DVDs you can get PowerDVD, works pretty well with 5.1 systems.

For audio, you can get Winamp but you'll have to install some plug-ins to get the full 5.1 effect ( take a look at the plug-ins area on the winamp website ).
