I am frustrated, no doubt mainly because I am not very computer illiterate at 68 years old lady, my brain just won't take me as far as I need it to go.
I like to play a lot of downlaod games from big fish website.
I play download games from the Big Fish Site. A couple times now when I attempt the download & installation, I get "Access Violation" error.
When I went to trouble shooting about this it gave me this inormation...............

Check your video card

To determine whether your computer's current video card supports Open GL and the latest version of DirectX, you'll need to know the date it was created. Even if you have a brand new computer, your video card could have been made a few years ago and may have outdated drivers. Please follow the steps below:

1. Create a dxdiag report:

Windows XP users:

a) Click the Start button and select Run.

b) Type dxdiag into the text box and click OK.

2. Once the Direct X Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag) is open, click Save All Information and save this report to your desktop.

I did this and this was the result................(sorry if more info here than needed)

Well I went to SIS website (which is the video card manufacturer?) but this is where I get lost. I don't have a clue what to do from here. There are so many downloads there for video card driver updates, I'm at a loss.

I did go and update direct X but I think I already had the updated version.

Can anybody help me????? I have probably included way too much info but if more is needed just let me know. Laymans terms please, need step by step procedure as I am not computer literate. There seems to be so many drivers to download and I just don't know which is the right one? Thank you so much to anyone with any suggestions. :)

Please update all your drivers online here: http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloadindex (you should see a "Click Here" box, for the support page to take you directly to your updated drivers.

Also, avoid Red color for your quoting, possibly use the quotes button http://www.techspot.com/vb/images/editor/quote.gif (on the toolbar, in a new reply) instead.

Good luck
