Taken from -> Hardware.fr (http://www.hardware.fr/news/lire/26-02-2004/#6402)

For those that have an AthlonXP ( serial number starting with AXDA ) & can't unlock multipliers 5x to 12.5x :

The speed strip is like closing the L3 bridge on the CPU but without having to mess with them.

So far I've only seem them on this store -> Bacata (http://www.bacata.net/modules.php?name=catalog&file=product_info&products_id=385&osCsid=fac1b4a17d3c4829c6606199ee2ee39d)

Maybe if someone were to send NewEgg an email about that very interesting item.;)

*Edit* The SpeedStrip website is here -> http://www.speed-strip.com/

Looks great but its $14.... count in shipping and thats $20 just to unlock your cpu! I'd rather get some conductive ink for $2-5 and unlock it myself.

Speed Strip review @ A1 Electronics.net (http://www.a1-electronics.net/AMD_Section/CPUs/SpeedStrip_March04.shtml)

If the buzz around this item is big enough, a store like Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/index.asp?refer=techsp0t) might start offering them.:D
