Either my system clock is 15 minutes fast, or the forum clock is 15 minutes slow. I don't think it's my system clock :D

Spike 03-08-2004, 05:22 PM Either my system clock is 15 minutes fast, or the forum clock is 15 minutes slow. I don't think it's my system clock :D prashidi 03-08-2004, 06:09 PM your right. The problem is with the server that the site is running on. Next time I talk to Julio Ill tell him about it. Ad 03-08-2004, 06:09 PM poertner_1274 03-08-2004, 10:21 PM I think he has tried to change this many times before. Maybe when he makes changes to the software it might change the clock. Julio 03-09-2004, 03:46 AM It's fixed again now. Didou 03-09-2004, 05:09 AM It's running 6 minutes my clock now but I don't mind.;) StormBringer 03-09-2004, 12:29 PM its dead on here http://img33.photobucket.com/albums/v99/Privateer/emoticons/win12.gif Per Hansson 03-11-2004, 04:44 AM Hehe, the BIOS clock is set wrong, so when the server is rebooted it gets the wrong time from the BIOS... So when the server crashed now a few days back..... Nodsu 03-11-2004, 04:50 AM You can sync the HW clock manually to the system clock by running hwclock with appropriate options. Per Hansson 03-11-2004, 04:55 AM Ok, I will do that so this problem will not happen again... Thnx for the tip Nodsu Nodsu 03-11-2004, 05:07 AM You have to be careful withthe settings tho.. Better copy the clock syncing part from /etc/init.d/halt into a separate script and make it run hourly or daily. Ad 03-11-2004, 05:07 AM |
