Windows not recognized DVD-RW

Hai, recently my windows os has stopped to rcognize the dvd+rw.

i tried every thing i also remove my buring programes and reinstall it but all goes in vain.is there any driver problem or anything else? i use neuro burning 8 and it able to read dvd but in explorer it shoes as cd witn 0 mb free and 0mb used.

can any one help me to solve my problem?

The drive is there but not reading the dvd+rw.i have inserted blank dvd+rw but in explorer it is showing as total size 0 bytes and free size 0 bytes.

Start->Run-> services.msc
Maximize the Services Window that eventually opens
Scroll down to IMAPI CD-Burning.. and double click on it
Select startup is Automatic, and Start it
Apply Ok
Close Services Window

Then check the Drive again
You should also try restarting your computer, then test again too

sachinda, perchance, are you running vista?

cause if it is, then it's probably a filtering issue - which is easily resolved
