Connectivity issues

A few months back I had my harddrive flunk out on me. So I got a new drive, and I'm back up and running, which includes MMO gaming. The problem that occurs now is that the connection to the game server is lost after about 20-30 minutes of play - very upsetting when trying to complete some long missions.

I have arranged my ports & have a static IP, but I still lose connection.

Any ideas?

Yes, running a router. Static IP is set & configured with the router. It's a new Belkin wireless but I am using a direct CAT connection.
