Cell Phone Virus?

Didn't see an appropriate forum for this post, so I placed it here.

As our smart phones are running mini-os systems and have email access,Did you ever consider that a virus might be attached to an email?

After some time with Google, here's what I found (as of 1/30/2009):

Knowing the vulnerabilities of Bluetooth enabled devices is just as important as understanding the technology potential: on our part, with this work, we intend to take the first important step in this direction.

BB Runs RIM OS and therefore can not be infected with windows virus' :)
However, it - like Mac OS - is just a matter of time.

Interesting Jo, i use a BB (well its a works phone) so im safe for now, but all the same still a good point.

It's only a matter of time before every smart, web based, etc. phones starts getting viruses.

Technology is great, but, it comes with problems. :)

Viruses in our phones...? What's the world coming to when I can't even make a phone call without being at risk?
