SanDisk cruzer micro not working with mac

I have a Cruzer Micro by SanDisk and It 1/2 works. If you don't know what I mean it's like this. My USB drive works on Dells only and When I go to school they only have Macs. I went to SanDisk.com and they said the storage would work, but not the U3 which is fine, but it won't even show it most of the time. If it does come up if gives me 3 files which I can't do anything with. Do I have to reformat it? Any suggestions? If I have to reformat, can anyone give me a website?

If you're using it on a Mac as well, I'd suggest removing U3. Go to U3.com, click on the Support tab, and look for the question "How do I uninstall U3 from my flash drive?"

(I'd include the link, but I'm new and it won't let me until I do 5 posts.)

Also make sure the flash drive is formated as a FAT not a NTFS or a FAT32.

There shouldn't be any problem with it being FAT32. Even as NTFS it can still be read, just can't be written to.
