Aim login issues

every time i try to sign into aim it tells me that i have tried to login too many times in a short period of time please try again in a few minutes. i left it overnight and it is still not working and i tried iton two different computers. how do i fix this?

I've never seen it say try again in a few minutes. I've always seen it say wait 24 hours and try again.....WHY 24 HRS I DON'T KNOW?!?!?
