Hello,
I need to replace my CDR Drive with a new one on my ADVENT 7012 laptop. The drive is dead. It started to partly fail to work about three months ago. The BIOS was not recognising it unless i pushed the back surface of the CDR drive towards the keyboard, I had to do that on every boot in order to have it recognised by the BIOS. This trick doesnt work anymore and the drive is completely dead. has anyone any clue on how to replace it ? Please help.
