Radeon X600 & X300 rumours

While ATI still has to confirm what new cards they plan to offer for the mainstream and value market sector, older 9x00 Radeons are selling like hotcakes thanks to new lower pricing.

The Inquirer shares some rumours (http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=16227) circulating about upcoming Radeon X600 and X300 products. The cards are PCI Express native and based on the RV380 core which is expected to deliver performance somewhere in-between current Radeon 9600s and the higher-end 9800s.

The little bit slower clocked card based on the RV380 core will be called the Radeon X600PRO and will be clocked at a 400MHz core and 300MHz – 600MHz DDR memory. There will be two configurations - 128MB and 256MB.

Sorry, nothing related to the topic, only a little friendly reminder..

You've forgotten a "[" in the COLOR tag.

Interesting news though...
Looks like ATI won't be bringing out anything new for those of us staying with AGP then...
