To be helpful, we need to know more about your computer and connection. Brand, model, hard drive, memory, power supply, age, connection.
Computers can freeze from setup, spyware, defective memory, defective video graphics, defective or outdated drivers, power supplies or power adapters, dust or dirt or fiber in cooling channels or cpu fan, and a number of software install defects... so please tell us enough to give you some good speculation.

so please tell us enough to give you some good speculation.

Like what you are doing or trying to do when it freezes?
Like what operating system you are using?
Like is the internet connection lost when the system freezes?
Like do you get any kind of message on the screen when the system freezes?
Like does it restart again after a freeze?

That sort of information.

And to add to that, use the Event Viewer to see if there are any Errors that correspond to the times the system is freezing:

Start> Run> type in eventvwr

Do this on each the System and the Applications logs:
[1]. Click to open the log>
[2]. Look for the Error>
[3] .Right click on the Error> Properties>
[4]. Click on Copy button, top right, below the down arrow >
[5]. Paste here (Ctrl V)
[6].NOTES
You can ignore Warnings and Information Events.
If you have a recurring Error with same ID#, same Source and same Description, only one copy is needed.
You don't need to include the lines of code in the box below the Description, if any.
Please do not copy the entire Event log.

Errors are time coded. Check the computer clock on freeze.
