The not-for-profit organization which oversees the administration of the Internet, ICANN, has signed a momentous agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce that will reduce some of the country's say over how the network is run. This effectively pushes the California-based entity towards a new status as an international body, with greater representation from companies and governments around the globe.

Holy hell... what a huge step in the wrong direction...
First the UN, now ICANN... on the road toward the NWO - and you thought it was just a conspiracy theory. If you know anything about socialist/communist policies towards the use of the internet, this should bother you in certain ways... ways that do not tingle, but send shivers up your leg.

Ahh, well... a (mostly) neutral and open internet was nice while it lasted. Between the "I know what's best for the world / I'll micromanage everything" socialist govs. in Europe and Asia, and the hate and destruction obsessed psychopaths in the Middle East, a free web will soon become just one more "good ole' days" story to tell our grandchildren.
