I'm back, but will only be here for a little while until my fingers/hands heal properly.

I got injured at work 2 weeks ago, and now have 2nd degree birns on both of my hands and fingers. It sucks bigtime, cause I have to type everything with my thumbs. So that's all I've got for now, but I'll be back in another week or 2.

nothing is worse than a burn.....nothing,.... well, maybe the dentist.

I'm typing this with my thumbs, and man it sucks. I feel sorry for you dude.

Jesus thats terrible, will they scar? At least you should get a heavy compensation pay of?

This post was typed without the thumbs. Took me 5 minutes to type a 1 sentence message to sngx to see if he knew what had happened.

I can't do anything for myself. I pretty much have to be fed, bathed, and cared for. I'm just glad I'm married, otherwise mom would have to do it...

I've been off for 2 weeks, and get all of next week off as well. Not sure if I'll get compensated or not cause I'm a contract employee, but I should find out later this week.

Gonna be gone another week at the lake. Won't be able to do much unfortunately, cause I love wakeboarding, and my hands are still going to be tender and screwed up.

But I'll make the best of it.

You're not sure you'll be compensated?? I thought the US was the land of compensation culture (although we're just as bad now I guess), but here it doesn't matter what way you're employed by someone, they'd be liable....
