norton email scanner doesent work

Hi guys i am new to this site.....

I am having problems with my norton email scanner
When i send email i am soppose to get at the bottom of my task bar a popup showing me its scanning my outgoing email....but it doesent

Everything is configured properly in Norton


I am running norton 2003

Can anyone help me please?

It scans only attachments.

Try sending an email with an attached .zip file to yourself. Even better, use the EICAR test file - http://www.eicar.org/download/eicar_com.zip

This way you will see if Norton actually detects anything.
