what is "send complete"

I transfered somthing by msn.
when the transfer was complete,the msn prompted "send complete ".
is "send" a verb and is complete a adjective when them are used here?
would you please explain it ?
thands in advance.
ps : I am not a native enlish speaker. I learn enlish as my second language.so my enlish is not very good .I am software engineer .

It is only a confirmation message telling you that MSN has finished transfering the file.

Could just have well been "file successfully sent" or "transmission of data/transfer complete"

Hope that cleared it up :)
