hp 932c device driver for Me

I tried to install a device driver for a HP deskjet 932C on a Me machine and got all the way thru installation only to have problems at the end of install. Apparently the system is not seeing the usb port. I ran a check on the port and it is seemingly working fine. Can anyone help with this matter?
