Well, I bought a new Cd-burner since the old one didn't work anymore.I plugged in all the wires and when I turned my computer on then I got the following error message:"Disk boot failed, please insert system disk." I don't have it.
My question is that how I could get this burner to work?

Need more info on your system. Did you set the jumpers right. How do you have the IDE cables set up? You may have made one of your other drives the primary master. Also go into the BIOS and manually detect your drives.
