After replacing the hard drive on my Inspiron 8000 the touchpad and audio don't work

I thought that I had re-installed all the drivers and software but the only mouse and audio that the computer recognizes is through my port replicator.

I will surely appreciate any help or advise anyone can give. Thanks!
