Pop-Up everywhere!!!

I have a friend at work who has a Windows 2000 machine that now has pop-up ad's going off anytime she goes to IE. I've tried Spybot and CWShredder...still there. Any ideas? Thanks...

IE needs to come out with a major upgrade, serious. With skins, music add-ons and plugins, etc.
