I need more Compression then Ghost will give me

Help I need a program with higher compression then ghost. I need to take 2gb and fit it onto a CD 700mb am I out of luck? or is there a program out there that will save the Day. :hotbounce

No.

Most likely even the most aggressive compression methods would improve less than 10% over the one used by Ghost.

When you compress generic stuff (mixed files) then by most optimistic prediction you will get 50% of the original size so there is no way to compress 2GB of normal data into 700MB.

You could try deleting some data from the partition, especially uncompressable things like videos, mp3s, jpegs..

Ghost also supports "spanning"...
It will take the 2g. image and seperate it to disk1, disk2, etc.
