Hi all i am in need of some serious tech help please
i am having to use old laptop to go online:

Details:

Main Pc : win Xp Home full updates as of 3rd march 2005
problem is when i connect to net via broadband modem i cant check emails nor go online anymore ( normal error shows as if not connected)

also can only use mouse and i fi press any key on KB all freezes and have to re boot

also i found norton was playing up so unistalled or tryied to but not all gone

and now have bitdefender professinal and it found virus vbs ( which i thought was old??) any way i now have problem that i cant connect nor use keyboard

I know connection and modem are all ok as i am using them now on laptop so no probs there but have noticed that i get conflicks in mouse and modem input output range 0060-0064 ?

can any one help

Does the keyboard give you problems all the time or just when on the net? Can you use system restore to go back before the problem started?

hi thanks for all help but i have now doen a full back up and re installed the lot from scratch many thanks to all and all is working much better now as new
