hi im installing feroda core 3 on windows xp which partition?

i have xp home on partition c and i have about 5 other partitions with data.\
i have an 80gb partition with nothing on it and 10gb's of unpartitioned area when i insert the first iso disc what should i load it to?
thanks for any help.
ps. please do not referr me to the sticky about installing linux as it doesn't help me much thanks.

also if i download install iso's online can i just record them as they are to a cd using record now?

No, you cannot record .iso files as files (drag and drop). You have to burn them as iso images. In RecordNow you have an "image" button on the toolbar you have to use.

You should install Linux in the unallocated space. 10GB is plenty of room for it.

thanks, should my computer boot up into the install of linux if i tell it to boot from cd?

Yes. You may want to print out the Fedora installation guid for reference if this is your first time.
