Fedora Core3 with 2 ethernet cards

Hi,

I've installed a second network card in my box. It's seem to works...but

My Problem:

Card #1 (onboard card) = 192.168.1.104
Card #2 (Dlink pci) = 192.168.1.107

If I disconnect the cable from the card #2 and try to ping 192.168.1.107 it's not working... and I still can ping 192.168.1.104 ...that's fine.

But if disconnect the cable from the card #1, I can't ping both !

Is this normal ? Do I have to configure something ?

Thanks,

Carl

Most likely your routing table defines routes only through the first network adapter.
You can fix this by adding alternative routes through the other one.

Are you trying to set up some sort of a failover system?
If yes, then it would be much better to do it with the Linux ethernet bonding driver.
