I have a Panasonic 5-disc dvd player and everything worked in it fine (MP3, dvd-r, vcd...) well now after about 1 year if I play an MP3 disc each track will skip and a dvd-r the movie will skip...everything else plays fine...and suggestions...

If you haven't gotten a new burner or switched media types (both can cause some devices to have difficulty reading) you could try one of those lens cleaners for dvd players.
