hi. im new and i cant rid of pop ups on my computer. i should make it clear early on in this message that i know absolutely nothing about computers. i have had similar problems before, and i was told to download 'adaware', which worked a treat. but now im on a new computer and the nature of this pop up menace is that it won't let me download adaware, it just takes me to a my new home page which i cant change, which i think is called mysearch.com.

if anyone could help me it would be very much appreciated.

thanks guys. i went to the link that was posted in the first reply to my message, but i couldnt download any of the software. every time i clicked 'download' it took me to www.easy-search.biz.

Could you download it on another computer and save it to a cd to install on your computer? Will your computer let you install programs?
