I hope I am in the right place for this particular problem: suddenly links are appearing in the general content of webpages while I am viewing them. Upon mouseover, a box stating "Search for Current" appears on my cursor, while in the scroll bar of Internet Explorer, I get "Sponsore Link". Can anyone tell me how I can remove this unwanted "feature?"

does the computer have any virus protection and/or spyware protection? what operating system and service pack do you have?

The computer has Windows XP and on it is Panda Platinum antivirus program, Ad-Aware Se and Spyware doctor. After posting this thread last night, I ran all three programs in Full Scan mode and I think the problem has been corrected. Thanks.
