Could a Word 2000 be installed on a MAC with a windows license?

If you get the Mac version of Word, there shouldn't be a problem installing it on a mac. But if you try to use the PC version, you'll have a problem...

And you won't need a windows license, but an office/word license...

The license codes would be different between Windows and Mac versions of Word - they don't release them the same year. Windows versions (recent ones) are 2000, XP, XP 2003. Mac versions are X and 2004. I've gotten a different license number for every version I've received.

If you're talking about Virtual PC then a Windows version license of Office will work just fine.
