You started a thread in order to ask how to start a thread?
It seems you know what you need, just browse to the forum and hit the button "new topic"...

If you've posted the thread in the wrong forum, report it to the moderator (that the ! sign in the top right hand corner) and ask for it to be moved...

i can't find the goddamnit "new topic" button...

Hey there newcomer! The new topic button is in every forum section near the top left corner. Please also read the article in my signature from SNGX.

lala, you need to go into an appropriate sub-forum first, then you will see a blue button labeled "new thread".

I would suggest that you make your first thread in the "introduce yourself sub-forum (http://www.techspot.com/vb/menu24.html)" first (and try to be a little more polite next time ;))
