i tried playing halo and it said that my driver has many problems with it do i need to download another one or what

What does the message say exactly? MY best guess would be that you dont have the latest version of direct x...but i cant be sure, until i get more info.

First off, what version of windows are you using...and what video card do you have...answer those first.

If you have xp first you should see if you have 9.0c...to do this, just type in dxdiag in the run command box. a menu should pop up and after it has loaded, check near the bottom for your version of directx.
