Like the title says, good games you don't need 3D acceleration for - know any? Hard disk space, RAM and processing power not a factor, though (these are normal.) Its on a cheap laptop. Any genre will do.

LNCPapa 07-21-2005, 12:47 PM Sevaral Blizzard games such as: Warcraft 2 Diablo II Starcraft Ad 07-21-2005, 12:47 PM Phantasm66 07-21-2005, 01:13 PM Keep 'em coming! Any more? Mictlantecuhtli 07-21-2005, 01:20 PM Doesn't Unreal Tournament 2003 have software rendering option? At least the original UT has, and I'm not sure about 2004. Delta Force 2 (http://www.novalogic.com/games.asp?GameKey=DF2) is another FPS that doesn't need 3D acceleration, it uses voxels instead. Then of course there's the original Tomb Raider ;) LNCPapa 07-21-2005, 04:40 PM Emulation! That's at least several thousand games there for ya! halo71 07-21-2005, 08:51 PM Yeah your right....I think it was the original UT I use to play on an old Compaq laptop years ago...it was pretty bare bones though. Graphics were really grainy if I remember right, but playable. Didou 07-22-2005, 06:34 AM Highway Pursuit (http://www.adamdawes.com/windows/win_hpursuit.html) ? :D |
