Fedora Core issues

I've never been much of a linux guy, but recently, I've installed Linux onto my system (dual-boot). When I boot up Fedora, I go to the loading screen with the picture of a computer, and after it says "Probing for new hardware" the computer freezes up. I suspect my keyboard is incompatible. Any suggestions?

Try with a compatible keyboard? :p

You can give kernel arguments in the bootloader menu to disable certain features. Try things like "noacpi" "noapic" "noprobe"
